Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna
Founded in 1666, the Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna is one of the oldest European musical institutions. With its traditional chamber music reviews in the Sala Mozart, high-level specialization courses, research and musical dissemination projects, the enhancement of the historical archive and library, attention to contemporary music, and with the Orchestra Mozart, an international excellence conducted for ten years by Maestro Claudio Abbado and today under the guidance of Maestro Daniele Gatti, the Academy continues today, after 355 years, to carry forward its commitment to making music alive and a heritage for everyone.
