This website, developed through the D-Sign agency for the Municipality of Bologna, in collaboration with Istituzione Bologna Musei | Museo civico del Risorgimento and the Metropolitan City, celebrates the places, episodes, and people who have marked Bologna's history in past centuries. Through the "Storia e Memoria di Bologna" portal, biographies of artists, politicians, war dead, and partisans come to life and dynamically interconnect with the locations, events, battles, monuments, and works of art that made them famous.

The site offers an exciting journey through family micro-stories, city history, national and world events, providing access to tens of thousands of historical contents. These include documents preserved in public and private archives, until recently known only to a few experts, enriched by multimedia content for an in-depth understanding of the past.
